SPRING HORIZON, 52X67 cm
In 1946, the boy Werfel gets a new pair of shoes at the Am Himmel orphanage. The joy radiates from him, and reminds us not to take things in life for granted. The poem 'Forårets horisont' by Morten Nielsen (1922-44) is written into the picture. Spring and joy to the breaking point.
Spring's Horizon
The world is wet and bright
Heaven is heavy with moisture.
The heart is heavy with happiness,
happy almost crying.
Drawing, print and oil on Hahnemühle paper. Supplied in standard light oak frame at no charge.

Kunstneren bag BidsArt
Julie Bidstrup
