What a beautiful ride - Giclée, framed 100x100 cm
A business coach spoke in a presentation about the importance of keeping quiet and letting others speak occasionally. He wrote in large letters on his whiteboard: 'Take a break - and see what happens'. That note carried this painting with it. And was the first thing that was written on the white canvas.
A sketch by Picasso was the inspiration for the woman. She sits in a jumble of thoughts or rushes around her... and pauses. It can be difficult to stay seated. That is why the birds are her helpers. One sits on her hand and makes sure she doesn't get up just yet.
The painting is about immersion and presence. About noticing and taking care of yourself - only then can you be someone else's guardian.
