The main character from the film 'Breakfast on Pluto' is in the painting. A social realistic depiction of a transsexual and his/her rough life in Northern Ireland in the 1940'ies.
The painting is about acceptance and social norms. And the constant reminder that everything will be ok and an attempt to take away grieve and worry.
Empty words or deeper meaning. In the backgrgound lies a figure from the comic 'Loulou from Montmartre'. A girl searching high and low across Paris in an attempt to find her mother and a mother's love.
