SAMURAI, 97x127 cm

The background was created when the whole world shut down and everything seemed controlled and absurd. Color codes, where each shade has its own code. Detailed neon-pink roses for spring play well against the yellow.

The bird - as many times before - is there to help. The woman has adorned herself with one of its feathers, which gives her strength. She tastes of Japan, and despite her downcast look and quiet exterior, a warrior is bubbling within her. She is adorned with a spiky breastplate with which she protects herself. Perseverance and patience might make it fall apart.

The frame gives her a weight worthy of the mightiest warrior.

Framed in brushed aluminium, with reference to a samurai sword. An anthracite gray passpartout lifts the glass from the work. Mounted behind UV art glass, which ensures minimal reflection and fantastic color reproduction.
