Reflection, 100x120 cm
The New York skyline in delicate pastels is reflected in the water. This creates an axis which becomes the main narrative in the painting.
A devil and an angel is inextricably linked, and thereby illustrates the duality of everything. The good and the evil in the world - in our selves? Or is it a simple reflection of a girl who do not recognize herself in the image in the water?
This painting is part of the artist's concept: "Sweet Little Devil".
Acrylic and pen on canvas.
Measures 100 x 120 cm / 39.4" x 47.2"

Julie Bidstrup
